Polks found in an Arbys

I walk in to get a roast beef samich, sit down to eat and before I knew it I was enjoying an old AC DC song. Normally I tune out the crappy sound from the crappy little speakers these places use. As a matter of fact if I notice they are playing music I often just get it to go and eat in the car. It was so weird to me I was enjoying the song I turned around to see what speakers they were using. I am unsure of the model but it looked like a molded plastic housing. An older model I'm sure. Just another example of something I already knew, polk knows how to make a low cost loudspeaker that you can enjoy.

You guys need to experience real roast beef. That grey stuff Arby's puts on a plate doesn't count.

Great, now they are gonna want to know what the unknown bits and pieces are. You're such a tease. :p

Yea, what are the bits and pieces? I get roast beef from Roy Rogers too. I like theirs because they cut it off a big hunk of RB as you order. Of course we don't know what is in that hunk either. Their sauce isn't as good as horsey sauce either. Do you think Arbys makes it out of real horseys?

    I enjoy roastbeef-flavored horsey sauce.

"Sir, would you like some horsey sauce with that order ?"

"No. I don't want SOME horsey sauce ..... gimme a couple of bags of horsey sauce."

Arby's has the best horsey sauce. The hotness of the sauce is fixed by when the vinegar is added when making it.

I eat the Arbys with no problem. I like the Arby's sauce as well which is basically ketchup with pepper. I don't worry about the whatnot- I let my immune system sort it out.

Although I do try to order healthy sometimes and get this, and pour a ton of horsey onto it.

My local Pizza Hut has what appear to be some sort of Atrium series speakers hooked up to their jukebox. They sound pretty good. I think there's maybe 6 of them around the dining area.

Not that I mind at all but I could have started a thread called "Roast beef found in an arbys" and we would have ended up talking about what kind of speakers everyone saw there. :D

Try an experiment: start two threads, both of them polls. One should be "Vote on the best roast beef sandwich you've ever had." The other should be "Vote on the best speakers you've ever seen in an Arby's." See which thread gets more votes...:D

No, but I won't dispute it. And the building looks like it could fall down around your ears--but, it's worth the risk. The (relatively) new DC convention center location has made it even more popular.

I love that Gallery for rollnroaster.com. Here's a caption from one pic:

"175 students from P.S 206 make their annual visit to R-n-R"

way to go public education system! Nothing like the educational value of the annual field trip to the roast beef sandwich restaurant!

Then again, to be fair, it is a relief to have something non-serious going on for a break every now and then.
