Anybody listening to these guys? Great first album. Not the same old indie sound. I'd describe them as a combo of Talking Heads and Paul Simon's Graceland. Really good stuff.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, tons of buzz recently, including the cover of Spin magazine. They all met at Columbia and, according to Spin, seem pretty serious about their music. But it certainly sounds light and fun.

I bought the album after hearing it a gazillion times track for track on the local college station. Absolutely love it.

And cstpeter.... comparing them to a combination of Talking Heads and Graceland is pretty spot on.

I did. I've seen them on Letterman too. And heard them on the radio.

    I can't stand them.

They've been on regular rotation for me for a few weeks now. I was trying to catch them at SxSW last week/end but didn't get to them in time. Yeah. Talking Heads, Paul Simon, and a little old Police in there. Good stuff.

Seriously... probably the best album I've heard in two years. And I listen to EVERYTHING. Those boys will probably go far. Let's just hope they didn't shoot their wad on their first swing.
