Unpacking the RTi 12's Now

Finally got some 12's for the front. The rest of my system looks like this: CSi5 for center, Monitor 10's for the surrounds, and PSW125 sub. I am powering it with an Onkyo 805 except for the 12's, they get a seperate Adcom GFA 555. Will the Audessey inform me of the crossover settings and, if not, what do you think the proper settings are for each speaker? The room is rather large 18x25, with a high ceiling. Thanks for any help.

    the onkyo will read the RTi12s as full range(Large)..mess around with those settings, i think my 10s are at 80hz?

    try crossing them over at 60 or 80hz. congrats on the new speaks devil dog. You'll want to get amps on them to make them really shine, I started out with outlaw M2200 monoblocks. Upgrade that sub when you can and you're golden

    If you have an 805, you should switch your surround back to bi-amp mode and wire the woofer section of the rti12s to that. That onkyo has a good deal of power in bi-amp mode.

    Looks like your good to go,forget bi-amping off a receiver,the adcom is more than enough.May want to upgrade that sub in the future as others have also said.Check in and tell us how that bad boy sounds.
