I currently have an Onkyo 705 with RTi10's and CSI3 and my sub is Velodyne 3750. My old system was a HTIB Onkyo 6.1. Temporarily i am going to use those speakers to fill in the system until i can buy the remaining 4 speakers. I am looking to not spend a whole lot as i have already spent a bunch.

I was looking at these:

not sure if they would match all that great, but the price is spectacular. Can you give any other suggestions for the rear/surrournds? If nessicary i can wait a while to save up more money to get something along the RTI4/6 or FXI lines.

What do you guys think?

OK, so which ones would you go with? Polk product page says FXI5 is the recommended speaker, but i have heard the RTi4 or 6 are good fits? Is this true?

The velodyne is amazing. I still have some tweaking on it to do as it puts out a massive amount of bass, even on things it shouldn't. I might not have the receiver setup to use the right amount or something.

i have it in a 12x23 room and it can fill the whole thing and provide some rumble on 40/100. Got mine from 6ave.com for $300, they list it for 500. Part of the name your price promo. Not sure if they still do it.

How much did you pay for your FXIs?

I got mine off amazon when Amazon had them for $250 for the pair....for that price you really cant go wrong. You may be able to still find them, i got the black ones, last i looked i think they had the whites at 250....but its been a few weeks since i checked.

Thanks for the info on the sub too...im going ot have to look into 6ave.com
