I am currently building my HT and I need to purchase polks. While searching the www, I came across the site "highdecibels.com". They seem to have the best prices for Polks, like LSiC center for $356 and LSiFX for
$660/pair. Just wondering if anyone has ordered from them and had good or bad experience. What's the deal with sites that are not "authorized dealers", are they safe??.
Appreciate any advice.

On the Polk thread over at avsforum there are a few posts that mention negative opinions about highdecibels.com. On person said that Polk CS told them that there is no warranty for products sold through them. I don't have any personal experience though.

I made a post with a similar question. They screwed over a ton of people from what I was told.

Whenever anyone asks if they should buy from company "X", I always say to just google the website name. If there are links to forums or sites that host complaints, then you should rethink buying from them. Often, the search will lead to resellerratings.com, which is a very useful site for info on companies reputation.

Yes, I confirmed though Ken, they are not authorized, i.e. no warranty.
