satellite upgrade
Hi all,
Been hanging around for quite a while now enjoying all the banter and knowledge from ya all.
I've had the RM6200 satellite system for a long time now and am ready to move along.
This will be a piece by piece process for now.
I am currently using a HK 247 receiver which will most likely be the last thing to replace.
What I would like from this thread is to get your opinon on where I should start with the upgrade. I really like all that I have heard from the Polk line
and will probably (but not definetly) continue with their stuff.
The size of the veiwing/listening area is basically square (19' x 20') with a half wall to the rear. Hardwood floors, wife that is pretty open to most any
upgrade, except myself of course,as long as it isn't to overbearing.
Where do I begin? Would you start by replacing the center first?
If not there then what?
I know that only I can be responsible for my choices, of which I have not always done well with, but I still would like to get your opinions on where to start and with which line given the size and layout of the room.
This is used for 75% Movie/TV , 25% music. Since this will most likely be a piece by piece process, price will be pretty open.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks
