I want an SR104!

My dilemma is that I can't find a pre-fab box that will it will fit in. All of the ones made for my car - 350z - don't have the required 7" depth. I am going to be stuck getting a JL3W3 which I don't think is a bad sub but I'd rather have the SR to match up with my SR6500's up front. I wish the sub wasn't quite as deep. Building my own enclosure is out of the question. I gotta figure another way to do it. Any ideas?

you could add a 3/4" mdf ring to this one to give you the depth just an idea.:)TV: Philips 42" LCD 1080p

Thanks greg. The fiberglass box is nice but too flashy. I want more of a stealth look. The understrut would work but I dont think it would look right with the 1" ring around it. My options are limited but theres gotta be a way to get one in the hatch area. My only other option is getting a custom fiberglass corner box made but that'll cost bucks. there is a guy who makes them but the size is smaller than the required. Do you think I can get away with .5 sq ft area space for the SR104? I guess that is not even counting the volume that the woofer takes up. So it would be like .375 sq ft. Pretty small, huh?

You could run down to your local shop and see what they could whip up for ya. Im sure they could come up with something that would fit.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

Is there anyone on here that can build one for me? Possibly local to Vegas? If not I can shipping costs. I want this sub!! I'm thinking a custom fiberglass corner box with the right depth may do the trick. My SR6500's will be lonely without this sub.

Dude, go to your local car audio shop and talk to them. They can easily build you a box designed to house the SR sub specifically and fit precisely in your car.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

You can always mount the sub with the basket hanging out... I don't know if you'll have enough room, though.
