Is Polk planning any updates or model revamps for their LSi line? Just curious, because Frys just had a really substantial clearance sale on the LSi15's.

The clearance has nothing to do with an impending LSi model revision or upgrade.

That should be in-store only, not on the website.

Wasn't there a thread about Frys clearing out the LSI's a month or two ago. I think it was just due to them dropping that particular series. And as I recall people were reporting some rather ridiculous prices.

I think Fry's was clearing out the LSi15's for something like $400 a pair. I certainly wish there was a Fry's near where I live.

I just spoke with two different reps at Polk.

They've assured me that Polk is NOT releasing a new LSi line any time soon.

Fry's is liquidating their inventory and will no longer carry that line of Polk speakers.
