Anyone ever see a DB Systems preamp?

Well, anyone? It's a minimalist high-end preamp some hole-in-the-wall outfit in NH has been making for decades. External power supply, has connections for an external MC coil pre-pramp, etc.

I remember seeing them in ads in AUDIO magazine,simple, black with oak side panels.I dug out the 1990 annual directory and it lists 3 pre amps and their MSRP,the DB-1/2A $700,DBR-15/2A $1135 and the DB-1B-HL $580 .Testing

Looks like I ended up with an older DB-1, possibly with an upgrade. Interesting little guy. Given some of the reivews I'm hoping it'll anchor my system for the future.
The DB-1A is still available new, at about $1000.
