Diference b/t RTi 12 and RTiA9?

Does anyone know if there is any difference accoustically or structurally between these two speekers? On paper they look indentical except for a few inches here and there in the cabinets. The real difference is in the price. Are they discontinuing the RTi 12's?

    the A9 use new Dahli cabinet ( curved) that help lower the resonance inside the box. It also help clear the sound from unwanted midrange or bass coloration and gives better soundstage in my opinion.

    The A9 uses new driver too, latest generation of the dynamic balance cones. Power port has been optimised and I think thats it.

    it just dont sound the same even if the spec says it's about the same. ;)

    the power port and the design are the change drivers are the same as RTI12 straight from polk

    The difference is immediately apparent, whatever the tweaks are. The A9s are a step up.

    I am demoing the A5 and agree they sound better. However they did it the brightness is toned down a notch and is readily apparent. I really want to hear the A7 and A9 in my system. They also look great, I love the new cabinet design. On a side note the cherry is darker than my RTi-10 and CSi-5 if you were thinking of mixing.
