Polk RM7C help
I'm a polk newb upgrading old Sony HTIB to new Onkyo/Polk system. I upgraded the crappy Sony receiver a few months back to Onkyo SR505 and couldn't be happier. Next, I upgraded the sub to Onkyo SK204 and couldn't believe the difference it made! So awesome...
But recently, I upgraded the center speaker to Polk RM7 and am not quite as satisfied. I realize this is the very bottom of the Polk scale, but I thought for sure it'd surpass the old sony HTIB center. Problem is, there's not much difference between the two and in fact, the RM7 sounds a little "tinny" and at times like the dialog is coming out of a box. Kinda like they're talking thru a megaphone i guess.
Any suggestions? I can't find anything anywhere about this new line of satellites and am considering returning this center to JR for the CS1.
