I just picked up MLB 2K8 for the x box 360. Its good but the controls need some getting use to and the frame rate slows down alot.
If life had more tubes it would be a lot smoother.

Played last years addition and I was hooked. Great Game, looking forward to the 2008 edition. I do not remember frame rate issues in last years game, some pausing between batters, but never any in game lag.

I hate 2k baseball games with a passion. I love hating on them. I can't wait for my disc of 2k8 to show up so I can pick it apart. They get so much of the game just wrong in so many ways. Its atrocious. 2k6 was unplayable for months until they finally got around to patching it. 2k7 was barely worth playing.

Tried 2k7 and wasn't impressed. Hopefully this years is a bit more engaging

Wow really? Then what baseball game is better? Seriously I have no idea. I thought 2k7 was great. But it was the first baseball game I picked up in over 10 years. -
I have all the others and this one looks the best but like i said before it has some slow downs and for anyone that is use to the old controls i suggest you look over the new ones there are some differences that you might not expect. If life had more tubes it would be a lot smoother.

Name one. Roger Clemens baseball. Bases Loaded 1 thru 3. Base Wars. Every baseball game ever is, was and forever shall be better.
EA was putting out the best baseball games, IMO, before 2K got the contract. Word on the street is that The Show is excellent, and much better than 2k8, but its only for Sony platforms.
