3.1's compared to 2.3's

I have a set of 3.1 tl's and am thinking of bidding on a set of 2.3 tl's.How much of a difference in sound quality is there and is it worth making the change? Thanks

They should present a larger soundstage but price would be the better indicator of whether its worth it or not.

Never heard a pair of 2.3's, but I have owned 1.2's and currently have 3.1's and in that comparison the big boys go a bit deeper in LOW bass, but dynamics are really close. The 3.1's may have a bit narrower stage but depth and focus are a little better than the 1.2's. But then again, mine have been smiled on by Ricardo (X-over, tweeter) so not quite apples to apples.
