I listened to a pair of Ikons a couple of years ago. I was less then impressed. It's not a very good loudspeaker gven their other awe inspiring high end efforts. The fit and finish on the ones I saw at CES were not impressive either.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I agree finish wise, certainly not up to the competition at the pricepoint they are in.
Sound, I can't comment, not enough time with them.Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service. -
yeah, finish look cheap, sound is ok but sound like it was boosted EQ on the midband and highs.
this post is over now, finally in just one listening session , I prefer polk sound, look and price. Was wondering if my money was going to be well spent on polk..
I'm sold now. -

The Mentor series has an excellent fit and finish, from what I saw at CEDIA the last two years, and sound pretty good. The Helicon are even better, but they are definetly pricey.Tschüss
