What do you think of this for power protection?

I tried to hijack another thread, but was unsuccessful, so I'll try again now.

I had seen someone else recommend Tripp for power conditioners, and I wondered what you all thought about this unit-->

It seems to be designed for computer, but also home theater use. They have one at my local B&M also for $100 which is only 1000 VA, but the UPS aspect of it is not really what I am looking for anyway, but more the line voltage conditioning. So what do you think? TIA

    If you don't want UPS, you should look at the APC LE1200. Very good power conditioner, not very expensive, and does an excellent job of regulating spikes and dips in power. Also is a surge protector:

    Do you have a DLP or components that are sensitive to voltage fluctuation? If not, just get a line conditioner.

    Belkin/Pure A/V makes a couple of nice HT UPS units.

    I've got a DLP front projector (InFocus SP7210).

    I use the TrippLite HT7300PC for my setup in the living room and tie both my HT stuff and 2-channel stuff into it.

    I prefer Panamax. Try the M5300-pm or M5400-pm. I'm also saving money for 2 of them.
