need 4 sl2000

Hello,
I just made a compulsive purchase of a pair of SDA CRS's on CL here in Minnesota. Though the cabinets are in rough shape i thought they were a fair buy at $150 but when i had a chance to listen to them at home i've noticed that some vocals and horns are scratchy and discolored. I believe i need to replace the 4 sl2000's. I don't have a lot of money left but am anxious to get these back to their former glory at least functionally. Please let me know if you have any tweeters to sell and if you have any advice about how likely they are to be the problem. Thanks.

    I have an extra set and the going rate seems to be about $40 - $50 for a pair + shipping. These are lightly used, so let's say $45. If interested, I take PayPal and can ship quickly.

    Thanks for the offer to sell DaveMuell, but for that kind of money I'd rather save up for the rdo194 replacements. If anyone is willing to sell a nice pair for $30.00 shipped, let me know. Thanks.

    $30 shipped is $10 each plus about $10 to ship. Do you want me to absorb the PayPal fees, too?

    well, since you asked NO. They generally go for 20-25 a piece, occasionally a bit less, then add the ship, the RDO are 48.00 a piece.

    Sounds good. I love Rapid City. I'm from up by Duluth MN but live in the twin cities now. It was 5 degrees this morning...hate how impersonal electonic communication can be if you're not careful. I've use paypal on ebay but only when there was a link. let me know how you would like to proceed.
