Title says it all, I am looking for one of Rotel's new 5ch icepower amps that was released the end of last year. These retail for $1199 and I missed a few going on Ebay in like new condition for around $850. Looking for new or used and not willing to pay more then $900

Dude, you are all over the place. Are you gonna use them on the Gallo's?

This will be like my 7th or 8th amp for my surrounds. All I want is a amp that is less then $1000, runs cool, has ample power for surrounds, and isn't that big. This seems to fit the bill, I heard it sounds better then the 1095, runs cold, has ample power, and if I can get it for around $900...

Been there done that, doesn't work in my rig. B&K makes a great product but their amps run warm to hot. My current amp fits the bill except for the heat, which is why I am looking at icepower.

I don't know if the 1075 will fit the bill, but here's one.

The 1075 comes close but it doesn't sound good enough (never tried, expectation based of the 2ch version) and its to big both height and depth.

For the record the amps I have previously used for my surrounds include:

    B&K 125.5
    Parasound Halo A23
    Parasound Halo A52
    Earthquake Cinenove Grande 5
    PS Audio Trio
    Red Dragon Amp-1s
    Sunfire Cinema Grande Signature MKII
    Rotel RB-1070
    Rotel RB-985 MKII
    Nuforce Ref-8
    Rawsonte LM3875 45wpc gainclone
    Rawsonte BPA200 200wpc gainclone

Probably more I forgot. Wow I'm kind of a amp ****, ohwell. The long end of it is I have tried tons of amps and liked icepower best in my ht. It has everything I need. If I can get a 4ch 100wpc + one for at or below my pricepoint I will buy, if not I wait until prices come down.

Why did you let your other Icepower amps go then? Just curious. I use the PS Audio Trio for the Dues and it fits the bill fine and runs cool. This amp, the Nuforce and the Red Dragon should have also done fine. Why did you sell them?

P.S. Good to see that you are not a speaker ****. You can't sell your 3.1's unless you get the 5LS's, or else you will be out of our Gallo Punk Squad. :(

Money. My buffer got wiped out when I had a pricey car repair, then the car died so I had to get a new one, then I got in an accident.

I should have kept the red dragons, I could have gotten 4 for $1k they run cold are small and sound phenomenal. The Trio works as well but 2 of them are over my 1k limit. If I'm going to spend $1400 I would keep my Cinenova instead of selling it...which I still have to do. The Rotel should be a perfect fit.

I might end up just keeping my 4ch gainclone, it sounds phenomenal isn't to big and doesn't get that hot. I'm just lazy and don't like having to turn it on and off.

Yeah speakers haven't changed much, JBL S38 -> Polk LSi9 -> Gallo Ref 3.1 in around 7 years.

Thanks for the heads up, if it doesn't sell in a few days I'll pm the guy with a offer. I am hoping to snag one for around $800, and am willing to wait indefinitely for one.
