Hi Everyone:
The March Issue is now available for download. This month you'll find a terrific piece demonstrating the sonic degradation that happens with the abusive use of Dynamic compression. Reviews of the Emotiva 5 channel amp, AudioMagic cables, Promitheus DAC, and a look back at the Carver C-9 Hologram Generator. Plus 2 DIY articles.
Thanks for reading!

P.S. The hosting service is having some speed issues this weekend, hang in there with the download.

Another solid issue with great choices of review subject matter but the ads are getting pretty annoying.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

If the ads are annoying, they are working;) Unless this is a 501c venture, I want them to make enough money to continue!

The ads are the only way I can pay the bandwidth fees and other costs. I don't put them within any articles, only between them. I don't want any article subject distracted by marketing. Because of that positioning I can't charge anywhere near as much as others, but it's a belief that I wont compromise.

BTW, with the music downloads for the Dynamic Compression article, my fees will be pretty outrageous, but DC is such a scourge that I'm willing pay the price.

Good job Mark. Nice read, as always.

Edit: Who is the guy who wrote the Emotiva XPA-5 article? I was thinking that he has written reviews previously, but couldn't remember exactly.

That was Brad Mitchell, known to some on this forum. He's one of A$$A's regulars.
