How many of you use some sort of flexi light over your turntable? Where my rig is the lighting is very poor and I've been considering some sort of LED flexi light to hang over the table, clamped onto my rack.

Something cheap like this:

What do you guys think? Anyone else use something like this? One of these days I know gonna catch the needle across some vinyl by accident and rather avoid it if possible.

I am using a light from Ikea. It is a reading light that I clamp onto my turntable shelf. Works fairly well. It was probably less than $20.00, I don't remember.

I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

I purchased this from either Staples of Office Depot, I'm leaning towards OD but this thing is really cool. It has a naturally very wide and bright dispersion patern with a switch that is shaped like a mouse so it doesn't fall behind the rack. Another neat feature is you can narrow the beam.

It clips onto the back of the rack and can be twisted 360 degrees if necessary.

I believe I paid something like $10 to $15 for it.

EDIT: Correction, it was from Staples and it has a three dipole lens for magnification. It is a pretty cool little device for the price.
