    Frank, very very little here on the boards is out of reach for the common man, believe me - I'm living happily ever after after in mid-fi. Evaluate what you have, plan where you want to be, and talk to the sellers. You'd be suprised what can you end up with in your own little audio chess match, if you make a few well planned, solid moves.

    Very pleased with the sound so far. I now know that I was missing things in the music comparing to my previous (low-fi) CDP. As far as tone, I guess the best description I can give is warm.     I added pics of the Magnum Dynalab and the Marantz SA-8260. I'm working on the Denon pics today.

    The pics of the B&W DM-602 loudspeakers were for someone else and they are now SOLD. The other two CDP changers pictured are the Rotel RCC-955($225) and Onkyo DX-C390($110). They are both for sale and I'll get some prices and history up as soon as I can.

    I still have a plethora of CD/DVD players(Denon/Onkyo/Rotel), Carver TFM-15 2CH amplifier, Polk RTi38 bookshelf speakers and the last AM/FM tuner you'll ever need in your life.
