I am so pissed at myself. one night, while surfing the net late night, I accidently bumped one of my Rogers LS6 bookshelves in my office off the stand. this happened about a week ago. I now realize that I broke the tweeter. broke the magnet off the housing. it looks like it actually clicks in and out by design (weird) but 2 of the things that hold the magnet in place is broke. I tried to hold it by hand and it still don't work.

I love these speakers and I broke it, I am so beyond pissed right now. I found a guy on ebay selling LS6 crossovers who mentioned having other parts. wish me luck  I wouldn't even know how to replace these if I cant fix them, thats how much i liked em.

eh, rant over. so pissed

I'm always on the lookout for hard to find replacements. I've got a 7 year old son. We were wrestling around last year and within a 2 second span broke both lattice grills out of my Altec Valencia 846 A cabs and one 515 woof. I'm still searching for grills or at least a 12x12 piece to repair them. HINT HINT
I've also got a monitor 10 in the closet that was knocked over by me in the dark. I broke the cabinet and both mw's.
Patience. You'll find what you need eventually. Maybe.

Dude, I feel your Pain....Oh, do i feel your pain.....

I hate to admit something similar happened to me, but with a Plasma TV...I was adjusting wires to my reciever, then bumped the TV stand (which was only going to be a temp stand for the TV) and SMASH!!! Broken Plasma.....Luckily i bought it where i work so i swapped it out for a new one...But you talking about one heartbroken idiot....I cried over that one, I was off all day and TV go SMASH!!...That was one very bad day.

So I feel your pain, your pain makes me wanna cry.

spotted a guy selling LS6 crossovers on the bay. saw someone asked him if he had other parts and he said yes. he is selling me the tweets for 30 bucks. hoping they are the same (I think they switched to a metal tweet at some point, but from what he said I think they're the same as mine.. it's worth the 30 dollar gamble.

wish me luck gang, will keep ya posted.

You wish! My dad had the same pair of speakers and those grills disintegrated 15 years ago. Time to make a custom grill

Is the surround resin running or do you rotate the woofers?
