Hmmm....I've got a few integrateds and receivers but none that are really monsters. The biggest one I have is a Sansui AU-11000a (110wpc) which is a beast but I don't really wanna sell it just yet. I have a Kenwood KA-7100 that works and sounds great but is missing one knob. And for receivers, a McIntosh 1900 (55wpc) with wood case (a beauty), a few Pioneers (SX-650, 750 and 890) and 2 Concepts (both 2.5's). I think that's it but it's hard to say.Richard? Who's your favorite Little Rascal? Alfalfa? Or is it........................Spanky?.................................Sinner.

JimBrick, be ready to plunk down some serious coinage if it's in good condition.. prices for some of those big beefy behemoths are outrageous right now. Sometimes going for 2 or 3 times more than what they originally sold for new 30 yrs ago. :eek:PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

I'm running a set of Ohm speakers so I dont need a 150 wpc monster. I just meant heavy built. I've been told some of these 50wpc receivers sound more like 150wpc2 CHANNEL

Jim,
I bought a Technics SA-404 on CL for $40. While not a giant killer it sounds very nice and has plenty of power. It generates some heat and has that vintage smell. I used it last weekend to power my 1C's in a 4000 SQFT room with 20" ceilings and @ 150 people milling around. It worked beautifully. Later in the night we pushed it pretty hard with out a hint of any issues.
ScottI like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D -
awesome, I'm putting this system in my garage to have some yard work/barbaque tunes. Nice to have a back yard and deck now for entertaining WOO HOO2 CHANNEL
