I just go my PS3 last week
I would like to know the top 3 best games out there.

I already have COD4, Virtua fighter5 (came free) and Ghost Recon MWF.

These are not my top 3. But I do really like COD4 (finished it already on the easy level)

    1) Call of Duty 4
    2) Assasins Creed
    3) NHL 08

    I also liked 'Pixeljunk Monsters' and 'Everday Shooter' which are avalible on the PS3 store.

    Yeah pixel junk monsters is definately worth the price. I have been playing that like a fiend. Apart from that

    I'm so new to PS3.... I hate the manual, for the fact that the better one is on line. I'm still trying to figure everything out. ie can I charge the remote while the machine is off? Is there some type of Online Club we can join (all Polkies?)

    Unfortunately, no. But you can buy something like this if you want to charge it from a regular outlet. The four lights by the usb port on the controller will flash when it is charging. I'm not sure if the remote does the same... If you have any more PS3 questions I'm happy to answer them if I can.

    2. flOw
    3. Everyday shooter (minimalist) / superstardust HD (fancy).

    PS3 Games:

    straight up Shooters: CoD4, Resistance, Stranglehold, The Darkness

    3rd person: Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Devil May Cry 4, Heavenly Sword

    Sports: Burnout Paradise

    RPG: Folklore, Oblivion

    Stranglehold is really a ton of fun, and cheap now.

    Resistance has the best guns of any FPS. Automatic slowmotion when using the scope on the sniper rifle, bullets that can go through ANY cover on one gun, lots of ingenious stuff.

    Multiplayer is kind of impenetrable though. the community size is probably as big as CoD4 but people have been playing it forever and it is mostly clans now. Resistance FOM2 will be a must-buy for me. 60 player online matches on a console will be great. Now that will be a 'ground war'.
