Need suggestion for my system..

hello everyone, i'm very new to home theatre stuff but been reading alot of posts in this forum. I'm planning to buy a Adcom GFA-555 at my local pawn shop for $300? Is this a good price or do you have recomendation? Here is what i have so far.

Polk LSI15
Onkyo 805
JBL LC2 Center
JBL L830
i'm planning on getting a pair of L820 for my rear also? what do you guy think?

    Your speakers should be timbre matched, with the center being the most important. Grab that amp and look for a LSiC.

    Welcome! Interesting mix of the Polks and the JBL; you really don't see that around here. I am a fan of their L-series so keep rocking it if you like it.

    $300 for the GFA-555 at a pawn shop isn't bad. You are going to have to pay their mark-up, so I would pick it up for the LSi15. Some Polkies have that amp and it works well with high-demand 4 ohm speakers like the LSis.

    If possible, check Audiogon.com and see if they have anything that might catch your eye. You might find that 555 at a better price...seems I just saw one going for $200.

    thanks for the comments ...the reason that i chose the JBL L series is that it's more affordable than the Polk Lsi series...i'm not sure how it work out but i'm just giving it a try..please feel free if you have any suggestion...
