Your speakers should be timbre matched, with the center being the most important. Grab that amp and look for a LSiC."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

Welcome! Interesting mix of the Polks and the JBL; you really don't see that around here. I am a fan of their L-series so keep rocking it if you like it.
$300 for the GFA-555 at a pawn shop isn't bad. You are going to have to pay their mark-up, so I would pick it up for the LSi15. Some Polkies have that amp and it works well with high-demand 4 ohm speakers like the LSis. -
If possible, check Audiogon.com and see if they have anything that might catch your eye. You might find that 555 at a better price...seems I just saw one going for $200.SAMSUNG HL-S42 DLP

thanks for the comments ...the reason that i chose the JBL L series is that it's more affordable than the Polk Lsi series...i'm not sure how it work out but i'm just giving it a try..please feel free if you have any suggestion...LSI15 Front LSIC Center Lsi7 Rears Lsi7 Sides DSW600
