I believe Mr. mom is not correct. Martin Mull says to Terry Garr, "what is that a 38?" She responds "38, 39, whatever it takes"

The sad thing is that I remember that from 20 years ago, sorry Steve.

I thought it was from Mr Mom when I posted; I'm going by memory as well, so I could very well be wrong. I thought it was a response to a question asked of Michael Keaton regarding remodeling his downstairs. His friend asked him if he was going to run 220v down to the basement, to which Keaton responded "220, 221, whatever it takes."

Strider is correct, Michael Keaton was holding a chainsaw at the time and Martin Mull stopped by to pick up his wife for work. Don't know if Terry Garr had a similar statement elsewhere in the movie.
