SDA Goodness

Ricardo, I just KNEW you couldn't survive without a pair of SDA's in the basement! And now you know why it took me so long to adjust to the sound of your old 3.1's. Those old CRS's put out a huge image. BTW, everyone is grouping the 3.1's with the other SRS speakers, as far as midbass spacing but they aren't. Same as 1C and 2's. Just thought I'd clear that up.

Hey Paul. Yes, it's great to have the option to listen to some SDA's; the CRS's are small, easy to store when not in use, and do sound very good.
Hope everything is good on your side._________________________________________________

Yep, everything's cool on my end. Made a few changes to my system. The Acurus RL-11 is a nice pre. Incredible build quality for the money and it is a bit more detailed than my Carver. MOF, I'm waiting to hear back from a guy about an A-250 Acurus amp. It never ends. Seems like there have been quite a few 3.1's for sale in Ohio over the last several months. You guys must horde 'em out there!

Acurus is another "sleeper" company that make products that perform beyond their price point."Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Differentiation by numbers is for those who do not".--Nelson Pass Pass Labs XA25 | EE Avant Pre | EE Mini Max Supreme DAC | MIT Shotgun S1 | Pangea AC14SE MKII | Legend L600 | BlueSound Node 3 - Tubes add soul!
