RTA 15s

I found these on CL locally bundled with some wedge shaped polk surrounds. Price is too high @ $450, but they look in good shape. I'm going to try to knock his price down. Not sure if they are Ts or TLs.

What's a good price?

    $450.00 is a good price and they have to be TL's as there never was a RTA 15T.

    While in San Jose checking out a pair of 2.3's for I-SIG ...the asian gentleman who had the 2.3's also had a pair of the RTA 15's....in mint shape....I tried to talk him out of those for myself , but it was a no go ;) Very nice speakers

    The pair I saw had SL3000's in them....and I would have given him 450 bones for them too :)

    Perspectives...
    My 15TL's were approx 1900$ when I bought them new, long ago :) But then again, I live in a socialist country which loves putting obscene amounts of tax on everything.

    I have a guy locally who's asking much more for a pair of RTA15's. $450 isn't a bad price.

    Let me re-state...price is too high for me ;). I'd like to play with them, but not keep them. Anybody want them?

    Guys, I'm in negotiation with this seller...but, I'm doing a sanity check. My recollection is that these guys are nearly 5' tall and about 14 - 15" wide. He doesn't know what he has, but thinks these are only about 48" tall. Take a look and confirm please...the pictures don't give me much scale...I thought the 15s were the only ones with the PR in back.

    Yes, those are 15TLs, and they are appr. 43 inches tall (~110cm)

    Thanks Jesse, I googled them and found a thread from 2002 with the ones you restored. I'd rather have yours :D. Anyway, I'm looking at them this weekend.

    If I get them, I doubt I'll keep them...(space)...so I'll probably offer them up when I'm done. So if anyone's interested, let me know.

    That is a great price. I have always wanted to hear the 15TL's, just don't know if I want to pull the trigger on em' without hearing them. The reviews I have read are all over the board. Halo, do you still have yours??....
