Thanks to Robert for hooking me up with an amazing sounding Parasound pre amp. I have been searching for a couple years trying to reach the level of quality on a budget system that I knew was out there. I just couldn't get it together in the past couple years to make a decent sounding rig till beardog03 made me aware of his Parasound pre amp.
I hooked it up to my SDA 2B's with RD0 tweeters powered by a nice strong NAD 2600A amp... and everything just came to life, all centered around this Parasound pre amp. It's the sound that has eluded me for years... I am happy to report that thanks to Robert for hooking me up with it.
Words can't describe how good things sound tonight. I am using high quality interconnects, my trusty tube DAC with a old NAD CDP. It is sweet sounding. I was almost ready to give up on even having a separate 2 ch rig at all. I actually was thinking of selling everything in my 2 ch SDA system. Now I think i'll have to just keep it all
