I have totally completed to set-up my systems into SL3000's...
I think this is an awesome set-up, it will be totally Overkill...:)
My mains now will be... still my front of the line,
The SRS 1.2TL's and 2.3TL's.
The Center Channel will be The RTA 15TL (Still waiting from Ca.) and the CS400i will be pack and stock to the storage.
The Rear Channel is the SDA 2B's and will also pack and
stock to the storage.
And this one will be replacing my Rear Channel...:) it will
be totally all SL 3000's...
Sorry Jesse, I have to keep this one to be my Rear Channel.
Welcome to the new member of the family The RTA 11TL's...

Har,
Hate to tell you this (you probably already know)... but, the tweeters that are pictured are SL2500's (the black ones) and, they don't sound anything like the SL3000's.
Please comment.

Ron,
I'm not speaking for Har, but the RTA 11 comes with a SL2000 and the RTA 11TL comes with a SL3000, so are you thinking that this one is a SL2500 by the color alone? I find this interesting because the SL3000's in my 2.3TL's are a kinda silver, almost gold color and a spare SL3000 that I picked up is almost black. The spare works fine and is stamped SL3000, but why is it a different color? I know Har got some spare SL3000's that are also the darker, almost black color. Is it possible that Polk made these SL3000's with different materials resulting in the different colors or what???

Jesse was right, the RTA 11 comes with 2-models. The RTA 11T
and the RTA 11TL, 11T uses SL2000 and the 11TL uses SL3000's.
These tweeters are the same as my 2.3TL's they comes with Black and silver in colours.
I wonder why they comes with different colours too? -
Well, they look IDENTICAL to the tweeters in my Monitor 10 series 2. These (the monitor 10 tweets) ARE SL2500.
And though they don't sound bad, they don't sound nearly as good as the SL3000's. -
Yeah, (SL2500) they look like the same as the SL3000's in
black...:)
Only the SRS's (1.2TL, 2.3TL and 3.1TL) and the RTA's (15TL and 11TL) uses SL3000's.
I think these 2 models of RTA's will perfectly matches for
Signature Reference Series speakers.
I should realize it before I got my SDA 2B's, good thing I didn't
get another SDA's like the CRS+.:D (a waste of money and effort
may be ...)
Har -
It is impossible to waste money (or, effort) on a set of CRS+ speaker.
-
What I mean is that MAKING THE CABINET OF CRS+ myself...
get the parts and assemble
It should be a lot of effort...

I am wondering why the SL3000's in my SRS's TL's have different Colours...I am talking about the previous ones that are manufactured during the 90's.
Why they comes with different colours. I have different colours in my 1.2TL's and 2.3TL's with Silvers, Silvers with
Dim Blues, Purple Dark Black and Black...why?
Do you have any idea...

I asked Ken about the SL3000's Dome Colors.
His replies,
Hello Har,
According to the folks in the engineering department there is a naturally occurring variation in the dome material's color. The vapor depositing process involves high temperatures of one material reacting with the cooler temperatures of the base material. The result is that in the same batch, of tweeters, a wide variation in colors. So, all of this means that color variations are perfectly normal, not indicating any performance differences.
I hope this is helpful information.
Regards, Ken, Polk
Thanks Ken...
