Ok,

so reading another thread it appears that below the TV doesnt offer as good of sound usually,

I definitely noticed an improvement when i put the center above the LCD TV but I had to do that due to shelf space..

Now I have a projector screen coming..

how high should I try and place the center in relation to the screen to make sure sound does not sound like it is coming from too low of a position.

The bottom of the screen will be 41 inches from floor. top of screen is 12inches from ceiling due to heat vents high on wall.

Height of the rti10's is 44 inches. average size of center speaker stands is 18 to 22 inches. will that be too low of a center position or should I get a taller stand/shelf of some sort just below the screen.
A stand 32'' tall would put the top of the center just below the screen and the top of my theater seats is just about 42 to 44 inches..

any thoughts..

Put it as close to the bottom of the screen as you can, height-wise. This will also get its tweeter as close as possible to your L and R speakers' tweeters. You may still want to play with giving it a small upward angle.

You might be able to use a pair of stands, for greater stability.

Partsexpress.com has nice stands for the money.

thanks, so do you all think that just one of these 28in tall stands probably wouldnt be stable enough or offer a large enough surface area for a csi5??
