Thinkin of buying the polkmm120 12" sub and am wondwering if 250 rms is enough to drive this thing. I'm not that worried about spl just good listening experience.

for "good listening" i would not push it with anything less than an amp which is rated at the following at 12.5 volts to 13.5 volts...
rms - 450
thd - less than 1% (preferably less than 0.5% but nobody's perfect).
12 or 18 db per octave variable low pass crossover.
somesort of bass boost -- ideally you wont use it, but people always end up needing 3 - 6 db of boost at 40 hertz. dont go craking it up to 18 (on some amps) and getting ridiculous though.

coustic (unsure of model, btu they've got a 600 x 1) (bridged)
mtx 8302 (445 x 1) bridged
cadence Z8000 (500 x 1) bridged
other --
