I have three questions below written in bold that I would like to find the answer to.

There is a piano player, his name is Yann Tierson. He is linked on another thread Steve made, "Something nice for Memorial day" which is in the clubhouse. Now I don't want to muck up his thread with this inquiry so I posted it here. On that thread, post #12 was by me linking this You tube video...

Now apparently this is Yann Tierson playing 'Comptine d'un autre

Is this it? or is this a soundtrack with just this one song by him on it?

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/customer-images/B00005O6PA/ref=cm_ciu_pdp_images_1/105-6400877-1202833?ie=UTF8&index=1#gallery

Apparently I don't have the player need to play the sample. Can anybody who's up to par verify for me? Is this the same exact version that's on the short?

EDIT: WTF? The damn image won't show up.

    1. Yes, it is available on cd. It is on the Amelie soundtrack, I grabbed mine at bestbuy so they are pretty well circulated.

    2. Legally available as mp3 or the such, I'm not sure. I dont buy songs online. :D

    3. I dont believe so, atleast not that i have seen. But I cant say I've tryed too hard to find it.

I had seen that same "The Piano" clip years ago on Spikedhumor.com and fell for the song after the first time I heard it. Great track, with some surprise's on the cd, not a bad recording either. Actually one of the better sounding cd's I've heard in a while.

Is it the same as what you hear in the short or different? I take it I finally found the right one?

Thanks Dave. I've been at this since *holy chit!* 6:30 tonight. I don't know how I stumbled on these links because I have already searched Amazon twice before?!?! Must have had the wrong keyword or combinations I guess, plus it ain't no secret I'm computer dumb.

    Nice song.

Try dropping the "p" in your spelling of comtine, seems to be a youtube typo, not yours.

Thank you. That's definitely the one and apparently that's the entire song as well. I don't know why they would call it a "short" in the You tube-link unless they were referring to the video.

Thank you as well. Yes, the same here. It grabbed my attention the first time I heard it. I'll be looking forward to the surprises, especially if I can find it on a better format that may be available than redbook.

Yes the track on the cd is the same as the song on the clip, as far as i can tell.

And if you cant find it on sacd dont worry too much, the redbook is good.
