Cary is moving in with me

After my Up(sic)scale post, I'm sure a few of you might be curious as to what I'm getting.
I decided to pull the trigger on a Cary Audio CAD-200. It spawned from the all-world Cinema 5 they make. I figured it had to be detailed, smooth, and dynamic for the tubehead Dennis Had to put his company's name on it. It is common ground and according to their engineers it has an "enhanced" layout to improve 2-channel dynamics.

Very nice!
What made you go SS over tubes if you don't mind me asking? From what I understand Cary has good selection of both. -
Congrats on the New Cary...
I Love their products , and they do have a very nice, rich , detailed sound t them...

I do not have any experience with Cary`s SS side, but I would think that they would be the same quality, and sound as their tube brothers..

Way to go Wes. If it sounds as good as it looks, It'll going to be hard to wipe that grin off your face anytime soon. Someone is definitly moving up the electronics ladder.:D

Thanks, Del. I'm not sure how much more I can get out of these Parasound amps. Somebody looking to make the jump to separates will be very happy with the HCA-2200, that's for sure.
Hopefully one great amp will be a certain improvement over two decent units.
Later in the year I intend to look for a balanced pre to go with the 840 and CAD-200.

The Parasounds have served their purpose, and helped put a really well thought of brand in perspective.
I'm gonna keep the HCA-1000 around for a bedroom system. I figure it may not be worth it to sell it and the AA DLC for a mini-hifi system for the bedroom.
There will certainly be a full-review of the Cary. I've been wanting to branch out in a direction that no known Polkie has been in. I figured SS Carry would be one of those directions, on top of the great reviews the Cinema 5 has garnered.
As for bi-amping, I'm certainly going to have to bide my time on that. I have a few ideas right now, but nothing my pocketbook can handle, especially considering the level of equipment I'm getting into with the 840c as a source. I'm just glad that from all accounts the AA DLC can at least keep pace for the time being. Who knows, I may bi-amp before I go balanced pre.
