A semi political film, but not overboard. I really enjoyed it. Good plot, great acting, extremely well done.

Worthy of a rental for sure.

Watched it last night. It was a good movie. I liked how it ended. It's more of a drama than an action or thriller. Stars Reese Witherspoon and Meryl Streep and Jake the Brokeback Mountain guy whose sister is also an actor. A decent rental when there's nothing else to choose from.

It's a crap movie. It espoused the point that torcher never provides any positive results without actually backing the point up with solid evidence. It would have been a more compelling plot if both sides of the argument were advanced by the characters. Instead, the government officials are made to appear evil and sadistic.

Why can't people just use the words "in my opinion", "I think", "to me"?? The english language has so many options to express that it is your POV.

Because it's understood that I am expressing my own opinion and writing those few extra words would be less concise and a waste of time. Unless of course you know "It's a crap movie" appears as fact in an encyclopedia under "Rendition." Then I would have to site my source. Otherwise, it's just assumed anything I write is my own creation and my own opinion.

See all the time you made me waste with all your crap. :D

Perhaps you just want me to say, "It's a bad movie." B/c you'd rather not read the word "crap." If that's the case, I will adjust my writing to a more mature tone to compensate for your crap.
