Amazon, etc. shows a 2006 or 2007 remastered version of The Eagles, Hotel California. I have the 1990 CD and it's one of my favorites. Is the remastered version worth the upgrade? If so, what release date and label should I look for?

To date, the best version is the DCC gold disc. The way most remasters are done today, compressed/hot, I'll bet the DCC issue will still be the best.

Sorry, that one doesn't sound as good as the DCC issue and you don't need a TT.

What would be a fair price for a DCC Gold version of Hotel California? Where are some good places to look for one? Thanks for the info!

I don't think there is a fair price any longer. It's long out of print and going for big money on eBay.

By far the best version of Hotel California I've ever heard is the DVD-Audio version. Simply stunning detail. Anyone else have both the DCC and DVD-A version. How do they compare?

I have the DVD-A version, which is very nice. I have not heard the DCC version.
