Greetings! I'm a newcomer to this forum. I picked up a pair of SDA SRS 2's in 2007 and began my listening journey anew. I heard them 20 years ago in a retail store and always dreamed of owning a pair. After I purchased the used ones, I discovered some problems with a couple of the drivers which was no surprise due to their age. So I hit the web and began researching. It didn't take long to find this forum. I just want to say thank you for the helpful advice and input that so many of you contribute. You have been a tremendous help to me in understanding my new old speakers. I recently purchased all new tweeters and replaced a couple of the midrange units. Finally, I am hearing them as they were meant to be. Wow, I'm enjoying my music as never before. One of these days I may even get the courage to try the crossover upgrade :) But for now I am just soaking in all the music I can. Once again, thank you for your help and patience with everyone's questions. You do music lovers a great service.

Congrats on the purchase and upgrades.

I am an SDA newbie too, just recently buying a pair of 2B, so I'm sure I'll go through some of the SDA upgrade madness eventually (with the help of forum members).

Welcome to the forum. Enjoy the music and stick around.

Hello Lasareath, yes I did where needed. They weren't precut. But the holes lined up fairly well.
