Starting a new post because i couldn't edit an older one to lower the price and to remove a few items -
Selling a pair of Polk Monitor 7Bs with stands. They were purchased in late 1983 and are 9/10 sonically and 8/10 cosmetically (one grill has a small dark spot and the other some whitish stuff in the fabric). I don't believe the stands were made by Polk - they are maybe 8" high at the front and 7" high at the rear. They are sturdy, made of mdf and painted flat black. I will not sell the stands separately from the speakers. Price is $150 for speakers, manual and stands picked up in Southern Connecticut. The speakers have been well taken care of and still sound great.
Also selling a 1995 Paradigm CC-150 center channel speaker. 10/10 cosmetically and sonically. $100 picked up in Southern CT. Pretty good timbre match for Polks - just too large for my installation.
Please PM me for pictures.

That's a hell of a good price for 7B's with Peerless, and stands, and apparently in great condition. If I was closer I would buy them even though I already have a pair.
What's wrong with the local polkies?????_________________________________________________

I don't want to ship because of the possibility of driver damage/freeze-up that so many have seen in shipping. The speakers sound great and I don't want to trash them. I wish I had a finished basement!!

Probably less than 50 miles from the greatest concentration of humans in the country, and the guy can't give these away with stands for $100. Wow.

Where exactly are you in Southern CT? I just moved and now work in Southbridge, MA. How far away are you?

Fairfield, CT 06824
I'm yard-saling them this Saturday am if you want to take a drive....
If they don't sell, I get to Hartford every now and then. I could bring them to Hartford some Saturday am. -
It's a little too far for me. Sad to see them sold in a yard sale.
-
I don't know if you saw my PM, but I see that you are just over the CT/MA line. I should be to get the speakers up to Hartford - my wife works downtown a few days a week and I sometimes get to town for a Saturday am haircut. Let me know - I don't want to sell them at a yard sale either - it almost seems indecent.
