Bentley contracts Naim for in-car sound systems

Not that it really has any bearing on the car audio market but this was still pretty neat IMO.

Bentley has Naim putting sound systems in Bentleys. Something like 1100 watts I think it was and 15 drivers.

It seems like every other high end company throwing hardware at a car just to get a name on it (heh, name, naim...heh) and get it out in the public view. But Naim doesn't have a reputation of cutting corners and skimping. You won't see the name much outside of the home audio realm but even at that it's pretty rare. They build parts for other high end manufacturers that most people have never heard of and much of their stuff isn't readily available outside of the UK let alone Europe. But still, they have a good reputation and they are considered to be in the upper echelons of the "high end".


They are mostly known for top rate electronics but they do have a full line of gear.

    Damn It!!! And to think I just bought a Maserati. . . would've held out for a Naim Bentley had I know this earlier.
