EL34 Tubes

One of my EL34 power tubes is a lot brighter than the the other three. Is this ok??

Edit: Never mind......I think from the looks of the tube it is made just a little bit different than the other ones.

I get paranoid sometimes when everything is not perfect.:o I think I have a minor case of OCD.

    What do you mean it looks different? Are all 4 made by the same company? Have you set the bias?

    Yes the bias has been set and rechecked many times. The tubes are all the same. I bought two matched pairs from the tubestore.com
    Its hard to explain what the difference is but basically it looks like some sort of sheild is just a hair shorter than the others revealing a different brighter part of the tube.

    That`s what I meant when I said tha your tubes seemed brighter than mine...

    should be fine as long as they bias correctly
