alright i have a stock head unit on my 96 grand merc and i want to upgrade my sub from the cheap little bazooka 500w peak and i have 4 questions.
(1) i want a 12inch type r, 500w rms and 1500w peak, and i was wondering how much louder and stronger would this upgrade be if the type r is in a vented enclosure?
(2) would i need to upgrade my head unit for this swap and if i didn't upgrade my head unit, would the sub sound alot worse than it could with a nice head unit?
and (3) do i need to worry about the big 3 or a new alternator?
(4) what amp should i use to go with a type R, the 12inche 500w rms 1500w peak?
