I have notice my subwoofer seems to be firring inward and mids look like they are firring out.
Are the subs supposed to be firing inward?

both the mids and the passive radiator will move both inward and outward.. if you are getting bass, then they are working correctly. it's a sealed unit designed speakers.. so they work in unisonPolkFest 2012, who's going>?

on the kickdrum they look like there are moving inward. This seems incorrect to me. and the tweeters keep shutting off.SDA SRS 2

If the woofers are moving in the right direction you're fine. The passive radiator is just that--passive. It won't follow the exact contours of the music.
Your tweeters shutting off is another matter. You're either not packing enough amplifier or the polyswitches are going bad. -

wow I cant believe polk charged so much for these, with passive subs. Why not put an active sub and run the crossovers more efficiently? FOR SALE!!!SDA SRS 2

The passive radiator will move in the opposite direction of the 6.5 drivers. It's a sealed system, so when the drivers move out, they are actually "sucking" the PR in.
It is working as designed, and they will produce a very good amount of bass at low frequencies. If you're not getting that, there might be a placement issue; how far from the back walls do you have them? Also, they will benefit from more power. 125 WPC will drive them, but they won't sound as good as they can._________________________________________________

Yeah they produce bass, but not accurate and full like an active would. I see what the LSi's are all about with the separate subwoofers now.SDA SRS 2

Polk's design on the passive radiator with the SDAs was well designed. What speakers can you find today that can hit 15 Hz musically with a passive radiator and some 6.5" drivers, or even with a powered woofer...

What kind of amp are you using?"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

Nothing wrong with passive radiators (They're not subs, in the "passive sub" sense. A passive radiator is just a diaphragm with no electrics. It resonates with the backpressure from the woofers.) These things had some of the lowest bass distortion ever measured on a speaker if you believe some of the old reviews.
Depending on how loud you're playing, 125WPC could easily not be enough to drive them. I run an amp with output meters and it's pretty easy to get 150+. I'd be looking for a bigger amp if I were you. -
If you are going for that big boom sound you will not get it from SDA's. They were built for accuracy.
And as someone said the passive sub goes in when the bass hits. So it sounds like your are working correctly. You could probably use more wattage to make them sing though.
I have had 200+ watts going to SDA2's. Any less and they sounded thin and the tweeters would shut down because of clipping.
