I ahve an oldy sub, the PSW100 and the oldie speakers RT800. I am having a ver difficult time hooking up the sub. Do I need to have the speaker lines running into the sub or can I got right from the receiver to the sub, In my receiver manual it tells me to do that but it says to just run a signal flow for the reciever to the sub.

I have the polk350.
This is what it says for that.
Run wire from the speaker connection on the receiver
to the speaker input on the subwoffer.
Then connect the speakers to the subwoffer output

Yeah, I don't think you can go wrong with gracenrich's setup. If you have a 5.1 receiver, which I'm almost certain you do...make sure your set the bass out for your main speakers.Home Speakers polkaudio RTi70's (bi-wired), CSi30, FX3000i, PSW250

here is one. i have 1 rt1000i left front and 1 rt800i as the right front. I have them both bi wired and sounds okay. Can or should i split the LFE sub out from the receiver with a Y cable and run one to the sub (PSW350) and the other to the line in on the rt1000i? would it work, and increase the sub volume on the 1000i?PolkFest 2012, who's going>?
