Hookup question for PolkAudio RM 3000 vintage sub

Hello,
I recently found an vintage PolkAudio RM 3000 passive sub woofer. From what I can find, it's 1000 watts & 10" speaker.
I want to incorporate it into my Yamaha NS-10 setup. Do I just run from the amplifier into the Sub, then from the sub to the NS-10's? The sub only has 1 input per side (and a center), so I'd have to splice the speaker wires together.
Any advise? I don't want to harm the ns-10's...
Thanks!

It's actually 3 6.5 inch woofers firing into a chamber with a 10 inch passive radiator. Forget the center connection, and you are good to go with the parallel hookup you described, assuming your amp can handle the impedance.

Hey Russ,
I appreciate the suggestion. My power amp is a Sony STR-DG 500 surround sound digital audio/video control center. Below is the URL for description.

Do you think it will work ok?
Thanks so much,
