This is a amazing little NOS Dac that has garnered a lot of respect. It uses a Philips TDA 1545A DAC chip with a 5760 tube buffer. I compared this to a handfull of other NOS DACs and liked it the best. This thing has scary good mids, that "in the room" sound quality with great soundstage depth. This DAC combined with my Squeezebox is what made me sell my modded Jolida JD-100. If you want a lengthy read look here for the 65 pg thread over on Audiocircle.

MHDT Paradisea with OP amp upgrade to OPA2107 (increases bass extension & resolution, removes grain)

This unit is in good condition with a few blemishes. There is a very tiny **** on the top of the faceplate near the tube. There is also a small squiggly scratch on the top plate and a couple very fine scratches on the top plate. See pics for details.
