FS: Cambridge Audio 640H Music Server

I've got a C.A. 640H music server demo unit available. I've had this unit for about 15 months, and I try to demo turnovers every 12-18 months, so this on is due.

This server has the 640C CD player built in, and sounds very good on its own.

Since it is coming from an authorized dealer, it will come with the full 2 year warranty from Cambridge Audio.

It will come with the factory manual, packaging, and detachable power cable. For Polkies, I'll include a Shunyata Venom power cable to try with the 640H, or another component you might have.

For a couple various reasons, this unit is available again. Within the last 3 months, it has been sent in for software/firmware updates, and the whole unit has been thoroughly inspected and returned with a clean bill of health.

Can this unit be setup and used via the lcd display on the front or do you need to hook it up to a tv to set up via on screen display?

If I can use it on my 2 channel with no tv I want it:)

I believe there are a few things that need to be changed using the on-screen display, but after initial setup, you would be fine without an external monitor if I remember right.

I do have someone interested from audiogon, but nothing has been finalized yet, so let me know if you are still interested.
