I have been spending some time this week working on my Jolida 302a tube amp. I have repainted her and added some sonicaps capacitors. I still have the new binding posts to put on, but for some reason they are taking FOREVER to get here. But so far I am absolutely thrilled about the way it turned out. The pictures don't show its true potential. The paint I sprayed it with is the same color that is on a 1999 Lincoln Mark XIII. It is a pearl white diamond with a little bit of blue pearl that I added to it. You can't see any of the pearls in the pictures but when looking at it from different directions you can see the pearls change colors. I also bought some silver (looks more like chrome if you ask me) and black stickers to label everything. I was a little skeptical that stickers would look cheap but I actually think it set it off. It was way to plain without them. I was initially going to apply the stickers before I sprayed the clear so they would be covered with clear and look to be painted on but they did not arrive in time. I am still very happy with the end result. Now I just wish my damn binding posts would get here to top off.

My dad owns a body shop so I have a little bit of an edge when comes to doing things like this.

Thanks for the kind words. I put a lot of time into her.

The two really bright ones are Mullard 12at7 driver tubes and the two in front are two NOS Amperex 6dj8 orange labels. The first night I had it and turned out the lights. It caught me off gaurd. I didn't expect it to be so bright. It makes a killer night light.:D

I got the lewis type binding posts. I know they are for speakers but I can make them work. I am pretty sure all they need are isulated washers.

They don't seem to be on sale anymore.

Oh well. I just sprung for the Cardas.:D I highly recommend Sonicraft. They had my sonicaps to me in a day and they have very resonable rates on some nice parts. I don't knw when those guys go home but I just place a order and its alomost 8 o' clock here. I never expected to get a person at 8 o' clock on a saturday. Sonicraft rocks.
