How do they compare HK347v445

Obviously the 445 has more power but what about SQ and features?

    I have 445 and I don't have HDMI switching capability but 347 does....both have EQ/SET I believe...not sure if they are same ones....let me know if you want to know more about 445....don't have 347

    ok here we go...2 different beast...


    the 445 has lot more power 65/ch and power consumption (1040 watts). He also have more ampere (40 amps) instead of 35amps for the 347 ( around 500 watts consumption).

    The 347 is simplay HD approved, meaning that it can pass 1080p signal but he can only upscale to 720p.

    The 445 use Texas instrument DSP and the 347 uses newer Cirrus logic DSP. Both DSP are good for positionning the sound in the room during the movie, but I prefer the TI. THe 445 can also use Logic 7 processing on any source material, but the 347 can only for analog stereo sources. You also have more options for rear speakers surround with teh 445.

    Both unit are 2 zone ready, offer the Ezset/EQ feature.
