    I'll tell you one thing, don't rely on it. My MINI had a rusted out tranny yet the Carfax report came up clean. I'd say it's a waste of money if you ask me, I'll never bother with it again.

    You might want to use the AutoCheck service. It has much more data than CarFax that is sourced to build the report.

    ill take anything at the moment they have papers as there the only owner and its newer but i will take it to my mechanic but would also like to check out the history can anyone help?
