speakers OK out in cold?

just picked up my RTi8's from DHL - should i be worried at all if they're sitting out in my car until maybe 8pm tonight? it's about 30 degrees here today.

    Nope; though a good practice with eletronics is to let them acclimate in your home before turning them on to avoid condensation to cause a problem. I've done the same with speakers, given that they contain electronic parts...but I'm sure I'm being too anal.

    Just make sure you lock that car if you want to see your speakers tonight ;)

    I had the same question, but here in winnipeg it got to -35 C (-31 F) last night. You think that kind of cold could damage speakers?

    lol, look on google maps, its in manitoba canada. Just north of north dakota and minnesota.

    Thats why I need speakers, to hide in my warm basement and have some entertainment.
