Newbie Home Theater set up question

I am setting up a home theater in a generous size living room.
I plan to put the 65" Sharp Aquos on the wall which is 10 feet wide and 9 feet high. Behind the wall on the right side is a closet in which I plan to store the components and then use a Harmony remote to send RF to the IR ports.
In order to make the tv recessed, I will build a second wall in front of the wall. I am planning to install 2 in the wall speakers in this on either side of the tv.
Under the floor boards I had flat wire installed running to the back of the room. The back of the room has only concrete walls, so I think the only kind of speakers would be the kind that screw onto a wall.
I'm not sure where to put the SubWoofer since there are only two flat wires going to the back of the room. There is not really room at the front of the room except if maybe there is a flat profile kind of subwoofer that could be hidden in the new wall space.
I hope this is clear.
What I would like to know is what Polk speakers would go together in this proposed 5.1 system?
Also, if anyone has ideas of a better arrangement please let me know.

I don't know how big your closet is ... or how much room your components will take, but perhaps you could put a front firing sub in the bottom 1/4 of the closet?

Assuming you planned on leaving the closet open to show off your gear and allow for cooling.

Watch out for excessive reflections off that concrete wall, may need some dampening back there.

    Welcome to the forum.

Sounds like it will be a pretty cool setup. Unfortunately, I don't know much about the in-wall speakers so I won't suggest anything there, but I'd like to 2nd the idea by Wizzy and suggest you get a front firing sub in the bottom of your closet.
As far as the rear speakers, you could go with say FXi3's or some of the newer gen surrounds and play with the dipole/bipole settings to see what sound you like best from the back.
Are you going to put the center channel under or over the tv? Either way, be sure to leave some room, because some of the larger centers are fairly deep.
    The Home Theater Setup:

    Fronts: Polk RTi6
    Center: Polk CSi5
    Surrounds: Polk FXi3
    Rears: Polk FXi3
    Sub: Polk PSW125
    AVR: Denon 3808CI
TV: Mitsubishi 65" Diamond DLP (WD-65833)
    Game Console: Xbox360
    Game Console/Blu-Ray: PS3
    Satellite: DirecTV HD-DVR (HR21)
    HD-DVD: Toshiba HD-A35
    Remote: Logitech Harmony 890 Pro

    2 Channel Setup

    AVR: Pioneer VSA-910
    Speakers: Klipsch KG4 (from 1985)

I did much the same thing with a false wall, if you can build the wall 9" deep you can turn a Polk SW200 on end and install it in the wall, if not you can install it in floor or ceiling, just build a box for it when you build the wall. I used two of these subs and the Polk SWA500 sub amp for the front stage along the RTS-105, RTS-C for my front stage. If you use these you can finish off with traditional speakers from the LSI-line up for FX, if you are going 5.1 I would put these speakers on the side walls.

You can see some pics in the showcase under Polkfest 2007 at Brunswick Georgia of my setup.
